Drawing influence from the sounds of 60's psychedelic soul and jazz, with a heart seeped in rhythm n blues, this is a darker, mid-tempo groove than Derriere's previous releases BATTLE PLAN and GIVE IT UP and should catch the ears of a much wider and discerning audience. Recorded and produced by Liam Watson at the legendary Toerag Studios in London, this story of love, hope and delusion begins with upright bass, sparse guitar and rolling drums, and sounds like something the Wu-Tang Clan might have sampled on their 1993 debut album. When Sarah Tonin's sensuous soulful vocals come in you know this track is about to take you on a special journey. Add the haunting backing vocals and horns, and somehow Derriere have created something that sounds classic but totally unique.

The B side FOR THE NIGHT is a heavy, aching ballad, inviting you into a heart that's broken and brooding, featuring exquisite flute and seeped in soul.
